Overview

The Ascendancy Group is seeking experienced professionals to support the USSOCOM Directorate of Operations (J3), J3-International (J3-I) Division, in advancing collaboration, interoperability, and strategic engagement across the global Special Operations community. J3-I strengthens alliances, enhances multinational readiness, and supports USSOCOM’s network of Special Operations Liaison Officers while integrating insights from Allied and Partner Nation SOF into enterprise planning. This effort directly contributes to the development of an international SOF Common Operating Picture and enables partners to deter in competition, respond in crisis, and prevail in conflict. Team members will play a key role in supporting international engagement programs, managing strategic relationships, and ensuring world-class support to international SOF representatives assigned to USSOCOM.

Supporting J3-I’s information management mission, this role maintains comprehensive, up-to-date awareness of partner nation SOF capabilities, readiness, and key points of contact while ensuring reciprocal access to accurate USSOCOM information for partners. This role enables effective planning and synchronization by collecting, analyzing, and disseminating data across multiple classified and unclassified networks, serving as a centralized hub for multinational SOF information.


Security Requirement:

· Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility


Roles and Responsibilities:

· Draft and maintain interactive Information Management (IM) products that enable visual analysis of USSOCOM and DoW PN networks.

· Draft an IM plan and program that describes how each member of the team will search, locate, meta-tag, file, and update information relevant to J3-I.

· Coordinate with elements across the USSOCOM staff, components, and TSOCs to ensure a holistic view of PN SOF capabilities, constraints, authorities, and key leadership.

· Coordinate with J3-I representatives from the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence (USW-I) BICES program to ensure consistency between information provided on SIPR and BICES, consistent for Foreign Disclosure policies.

· Develop and maintain J3-I long and short-range calendars.

· Coordinate J3-I IM/KM plan and activities with Command Knowledge Management (KM) reps to ensure consistency and access across the SOCOM enterprise.

· Perform close-out and escort duties as part of the Division’s Security Procedure.

· Ensure that information attained is clearly categorized based on where it shall be stored and to whom it may be released.

· J3-I Organization and Functions Manual/Standard Operating Procedure (SOP): Documentation of J3-I internal organization, processes, and metrics to enable future performance and mitigate personal turnover.


Position Requirements:

· Master’s degree in IT or related fields.

· 3+ years of experience, and skills in content strategy, taxonomy design, and change management.

· 3 years’ experience in Business process and multinational information management

· Mastery of KM platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence), AI-powered search, SQL, content management systems (CMS), and data analytics tools.

· Ability to engage stakeholders, lead teams, foster a culture of knowledge sharing, and drive change.

· Ability to evaluate KM effectiveness, measure usage patterns and identify knowledge gaps.

· Expertise in developing taxonomies, metadata schemas, and organizing, storing, and retrieving organizational knowledge.

· 1 year experience in portal development and management.

· 1 Year experience in managing geospatial analysis tools (Examples of tools required are Microsoft Office family of information management tools, SOF Geospatial Enterprise.
