Job Summary
eClerx is seeking a Business Analyst / Product Owner who is passionate about building innovative products and translating business needs into impactful technology solutions. In this role, you will help shape product roadmaps, support product strategy, and drive the successful delivery of enterprise software solutions.
You will work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Engineers, and business stakeholders to analyze user needs, document requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful product delivery. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while helping deliver solutions that solve real business challenges.
The role reports directly to a Product Manager and plays a key role in defining, enhancing, and growing strategic technology platforms.
Responsibilities
  • Develop deep subject matter expertise in the business domain, product offerings, and user workflows.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to define product vision and execute plans that drive successful outcomes.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed test cases.
  • Build, maintain, and prioritize product backlogs to align with strategic objectives and business priorities.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Partner with UX teams to create wireframes, prototypes, and user workflows, iterating quickly based on stakeholder and user feedback.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
  • Validate that delivered functionality meets business requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Monitor product usage, analytics, and user feedback to identify opportunities for enhancements and continuous improvement.
  • Create and maintain internal and external product documentation, including release notes, user guides, FAQs, training materials, and knowledge base content.
  • Enable Client Support, Client Engagement, and Sales teams through product training and feature education.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts and help resolve product-related issues.
  • Deliver product demonstrations to internal stakeholders, clients, and prospective customers.

Eligibility Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Product Analyst, or similar role.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments and a strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Naturally inquisitive mindset with a passion for learning and solving complex business problems.
  • Proven experience gathering requirements, documenting business processes, developing user stories, and working with diverse user personas.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, including Engineering, UX, Product Management, Sales, and Operations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within financial services, capital markets, lending, fintech, or other complex regulated industries.
  • Experience facilitating, managing, or participating in Agile and Scrum ceremonies.
  • Test case development and user acceptance testing (UAT) experience.
  • Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning, or data-driven product initiatives.
  • Client-facing experience, including requirements workshops, product demonstrations, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, Confluence, or similar project management and collaboration tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with SQL, data analysis, reporting, or data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of syndicated lending, loan operations, capital markets, or related financial products.

In the US, the target base salary for this role is $145,000-$165,000. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors
