The General Ledger Accountant works directly with the Controller and is responsible for the maintenance of all aspects of HK's general ledger, including, timeliness and accuracy of data entry, account reconciliation and assisting administration with financial reports. Responsible to analyze journal entries, supporting documentation and affected accounts and work with property accountants to ensure validity. Incumbent has overall responsibility of ensuring the accuracy of all accounting entered into the accounting system, including ensuring accurate and timely monthly close, billings, collections and cash applications. All while maintaining an environment with strong internal controls.
