Job Description:

The Nighttime Kitchen Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations during the nighttime shift. This role requires a strong leader who can manage staff, ensure food safety and quality, and optimize efficiency during our busiest hours. The ideal candidate will have a background in fast-paced kitchen management, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to work effectively in a nighttime environment.


Key Responsibilities:

                            Operational Leadership:

                            Oversee all kitchen activities during the nighttime shift, ensuring that food preparation, cooking, and plating are executed according to Chick-fil-A's high standards.

                            Monitor workflow and make real-time decisions to ensure efficient and smooth operations throughout the shift.

                            Team Management:

                            Recruit, train, and mentor nighttime kitchen staff, ensuring they are well-versed in food safety protocols, company standards, and operational procedures.

                            Conduct regular performance reviews, offer constructive feedback, and lead by example to foster a culture of excellence and teamwork.

                            Food Safety & Quality Assurance:

                            Ensure that all food safety guidelines and quality standards are strictly adhered to, including proper temperature controls, sanitation procedures, and food handling practices.

                            Perform regular checks and audits to identify any areas of concern and implement corrective measures promptly.

                            Process Improvement:

                            Analyze nighttime kitchen performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

                            Collaborate with daytime leadership and other departments to integrate best practices and innovative solutions into nighttime operations.

                            Inventory & Supply Management:

                            Communication & Reporting:

                            Maintain clear and consistent communication with management regarding shift performance, staffing needs, and any operational challenges encountered during the shift.

                            Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced kitchen or quick-service restaurant environment.
