Job description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated kitchen manager to oversee the daily operations of our new restaurant's kitchen. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food preparation, maintaining food safety standards, managing kitchen staff, controlling inventory and costs, and creating an efficient, positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service.
  • Supervise, train, schedule, and motivate kitchen staff.
  • Ensure all food is prepared consistently and meets quality standards
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
  • Monitor inventory, order supplies, and controlfood costs.
  • Minimize waste and maintain proper food storage procedures.
  • Work closely with the restaurant management team to achieve operational goals.
  • Develop and update recipes, menus, and portion standards as needed.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and coordinate repairs when necessary.
  • Resolve kitchen issues quickly while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times.

Qualifications
