Food Preparation & Customer Service to Kitchen Guests

  • This role is responsible for providing experience excellence for the guest in their respective location. The kitchen teammate is responsible for taking care of the guest with their purchases, inquiries, special requests, and concerns with a kind demeanor. The kitchen teammate is responsible for providing exceptional service that exceeds the guest's expectations.
  • This role is responsible for completing tasks delegated to them from the daily kitchen checklist and making sure each task is complete. The kitchen teammate is responsible for preparing food according to safe food preparation guidelines.
  • This role is responsible for completing assigned cleaning tasks in the kitchen and in the salesfloor hot food displays, all while maintaining a consistent positive presence for the guest.

Guest Security/Food Safety/Cleanliness

  • This role is responsible for protecting guest information. Rewards, payment, and identification information are included in items that should remain secure.
  • The kitchen teammate is responsible for following all security protocols for guest/team safety.
  • This role is responsible for following all food safety guidelines. This role is also responsible for following all cleaning protocols to ensure a safe food preparation environment.

Positive Interaction & Proactive Communication with Staff & Guests

Executing on Brand Standards

  • This role is responsible for executing brand standards developed and communicated by the President, Vice President, and Director of Operations of the Travel Centers and C-Stores.
  • The Kitchen Teammate is responsible for helping to communicate and educate the brand standards to the team and supporting a cohesive culture promoting and adhering to these standards.
  • This role is responsible for upholding the company dress code. Maintaining proper grooming and daily hygiene is expected.
