Job description

Employee-Owned Premier Countertop Company is looking for a Countertop Installer for our field team at a growing company in our Schenectady location! Full-time, Monday through Thursday, year-round position with occasional overtime and room for growth! This position involves travel with multiple stops a day in a company vehicle. Typically, install crews consist of 2 or 3-person teams that install kitchen and bathroom countertops. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Load/unload trucks with countertops, equipment, and other related products for the installation
  • Perform countertop installation according to company specifications and requirements in a timely manner
  • Responsible for safely handling all products and tools
  • Lift products safely using proper techniques, tools provided, and communication with partner
  • Maintain trucks in a neat and organized manner
  • Provide a professional and pleasant customer experience
  • Communicate with office staff if any issues or delays occur

Requirements/Preferences
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • Must have a valid NYS Driver's License that is maintained
  • Acceptable background check
  • Ability to lift and carry 100lbs on a frequent basis
  • Drug-Free work policy requires successful passing of a pre-employment drug test
  • Installation, manufacturing, or manual labor experience
  • Kitchen and bath industry experience is a plus
  • Experience operating power tools
  • OSHA 10 Card is a plus
  • Carpenter/Construction experience is a plus.
  • Experience driving box trucks is a plus.
