Remodeling Maintenance Tech.

Mon- Fri 8:30-5:00

JOB DESCRIPTION

Role and Responsibilities

  • Inspect properties to assess needed repairs and improvements.
  • Evaluate the condition of the property's fixtures, appliances, flooring, and other elements.
  • Perform basic repairs, including plumbing, electrical, drywall, and carpentry work.
  • Handle painting and touch-ups for walls, ceilings, and trim.
  • Install or replace flooring, fixtures, and appliances as needed.
  • Conduct minor remodeling, such as kitchen and bathroom upgrades, cabinet installation, or countertop replacements.
  • Install new hardware, lighting fixtures, or other cosmetic enhancements.
  • Ensure the property is cleaned and ready for occupancy, including floor cleaning, window washing, and trash removal.
  • Work closely with supervisors to ensure that all tasks are completed within the required time frame.
  • Report on progress and any issues that arise during the renovation process.
  • Ensure the proper use of tools, materials, and safety equipment.
  • Address any last-minute repairs or concerns before property handover.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Previous experience in property management or renovation.
  • Certifications in construction trades or safety protocols (OSHA, etc.).
  • Familiarity with specialized tools and equipment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Comfortability with climbing ladders, inspecting roofs, and entering attics or crawl spaces.
  • Working in various weather conditions
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
  • Frequent use of hands and tools for long periods.
