Full Time Kitchen Associate - Crimson Lane Vineyards
Who We Are: Crimson Lane Vineyards is a new Virginia winery in Linden. We are a small production vineyard committed to creating premium estate wines and offering our guests a friendly but elevated experience. More job openings can be found at https://crimsonlanevineyards.com/
Who You Are: You are passionate about creating delicious and beautifully presented food. This role is responsible for preparing all food items based on standardized recipes for our wine tasting room while maintaining the highest standards.
  • You consider yourself a Charcuterie board enthusiast
  • Enjoy creating appealing food with attention to detail
  • Strong communications skills
  • Feel comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Have a high School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, ben, stoop and lift at least 25-40 pounds
  • Work weekends, evenings, and some holidays

Preferred Experience:
  • Kitchen experience
  • Wine Knowledge - what you don't know we can teach you
  • Food Handlers Certification (must comply with State requirements) if you do not have this we will provide it

Day In the Life of
  • Prepare and set up the kitchen at the beginning of each day
  • Preparation of menu items according to provided standards in a timely manner
  • Maintain clean and organized storage areas and kitchen equipment
  • Practice safe work habits at all times to avoid possible injury to self or other associates
  • Maintain prober food storage, rotation, and inventory resulting in controlled food costs
  • Perform any other duties as requested by management
