Job Summary:
Kick is an applied AI company focused on automating business finances for entrepreneurs. They are seeking a Front-end Engineer to enhance user experience across their platforms by building responsive websites and maintaining the design system.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with Design, Engineering and Growth teams.
• Build performant beautiful, responsive websites and landing pages.
• Help build and maintain Kick's design system.
• Implement creative animations and interactions in code.
• Develop special projects to elevate Kick’s brand.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Has at least 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on front-end development.
• Strong familiarity with React and Typescript.
• Has a sense for great user experience and feel when something is off.
• Pays attention to detail and aims to provide our users with a delightful experience.
• Has strong written and verbal communication skills and enjoys solving user problems.
• Has a collaborative mindset and is open to feedback and iterative processes.
• A portfolio showcasing a range of technical skills, a creative use of code, and prototyping skills in the form of webflow, microsites, webgl or anything else.
• Collaborate through excellent written communication, B2+ English level for verbal communication
Preferred:
• Enjoy working in startups and have been part of a team during its growth stage
• Have experience of building their own startup or working as a founding engineer
• Have experience with modern frontend libraries (e.g. TanStack Query v4)
