Job description

Recycling Technician - Level 1
Want to work 14-15 days a month and get paid for the full month? Want every other weekend off? And know your schedule for the entire year! Medical insurance that is paid for 100% by the company. Starting Wage: $19.45/hr plus $2.00/hr shift premium for night shift. Both day and night shift available.
We are looking for dedicated, hardworking people to join our team! Our company is constantly growing, and we have opportunities for you to grow with us. This position involves the safe operations of machines, inspection of plastic horticultural containers and other plastics. We offer paid training, consistent schedules, great benefits and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and sort materials by plastic type.
  • Remove contaminants (cardboard, metal, film) from sorting line.
  • Load material onto conveyor belt.
  • Monitor line for quality of material.
  • Break down boxes and crates.
  • Run Baler machine.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to bend, twist, climb, stand and lift items of up to 50lb
  • Teamwork is a key value to the organization and working collaboratively with others is a must
  • Attention to detail
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Must be able to work a 12hr 2/2/3 schedule
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
