Position Summary:

The Lead, E-Commerce Performance Analytics will be responsible for leveraging data to help drive the global growth and success of Celebrity Cruises by providing performance measurement and strategic analysis to influence priorities for the E-commerce and Marketing teams. This role will work closely with other departments within the company to identify opportunities, analyze results and create reports, presentations and/or dashboards for leadership while providing actionable insights. Types of analysis could include business performance, promotional effectiveness, guest profiling, market planning, or business process related.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Influence business decisions through analytics and identify actionable insights that inform our strategy.
  • Effectively communicate results to a cross functional group as well as department executives.
  • Tracking Key Performance Indicators, as well as revenue performance to support strategic business plans.
  • Collaborating with Revenue Management, identify opportunities and develop promotion campaign use cases to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Forecast Key Performance Indicators based on historical data and identify variances.
  • Aggregate large and diverse data sets using Power BI, Excel, and other analytical tools.
  • Create dashboards with advanced data visualization tools, such as Power BI, to provide an easy-to-understand interface for end users to identify key themes within data.
  • Lead ad-hoc projects that provide insight into competitor marketing efforts.
  • Qualified in developing and delivering high quality, clear and concise presentations to Marketing Leadership.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, Business, Finance, Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar.
  • MBA or relevant master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of work experience required, with experience performing either strategic digital analysis, financial analysis, or business intelligence/marketing analytics highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and writing SQL queries with experience in Power BI.
  • Experience in travel/leisure hospitality is preferred.

  • Foundational Knowledge: Understanding of eCommerce, operations,ย marketing and finance principles to lead management on short and long-term strategies.
  • Complex Problem Solving: Ability to identifying the root cause of complex problems, develop options and recommend solutions.
  • Analytical: Data combined with critical thinking to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities
  • Presentation & Storytelling: Able to present complex data analyses into simple, concise, and engaging stories that bring insights to the forefront using Power Point
  • Research: Ability to find and interpret syndicated research studies and credible sources to answer competitor, market, and additional applicable required research.
  • Results-driven: Ability to complete tasks efficiently and thoroughly by meticulously ensuring data and insights presented are accurate.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced SQL, Advanced Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint required.
