About the job Marketing Assistant

Orvix Engineering is seeking a dynamic and driven Marketing Assistant to join our growing marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the marketing department while helping to implement strategies that enhance the companys brand, expand its reach, and promote our engineering services across multiple sectors. This position requires someone with a strong work ethic, creativity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Note: the role is strictly for candidates within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

As a Marketing Assistant, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Marketing Campaign Support:

  • Assist in the planning, development, and execution of marketing campaigns, including online and offline promotions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, engineering, and design) to ensure the marketing efforts align with company goals.
  • Help with the creation and distribution of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, flyers, and promotional content.
  • Support the execution of social media campaigns and manage the scheduling of posts across various platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.).
  • Assist in email marketing campaigns, including creating templates, editing content, and tracking performance.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Contribute to the development of content for the company website, social media, blogs, newsletters, and other communication channels.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate complex engineering concepts into easy-to-understand content for a broader audience.
  • Assist in creating case studies, client testimonials, and other project-based content that demonstrates Orvix Engineerings expertise.
  • Ensure that all marketing content maintains the companys voice and messaging consistency.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the engineering industry.
  • Assist in compiling and analyzing data related to marketing campaigns, website traffic, and social media engagement.
  • Provide recommendations based on findings to help enhance marketing strategies.

Brand Management:

  • Help maintain and protect the companys brand image by ensuring all materials, communications, and online presences are consistent with Orvix Engineerings identity and messaging.
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries and feedback on social media platforms and other digital channels.

Event Coordination and PR:

  • Assist with the planning and execution of industry events, trade shows, and conferences, ensuring Orvix Engineerings presence is maximized.
  • Support the creation of press releases, company announcements, and media outreach efforts.
  • Liaise with external agencies, partners, and vendors to coordinate marketing efforts.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing Manager and senior marketing team members.
  • Organize and maintain marketing collateral and campaign documentation.
  • Assist in managing the marketing budget, ensuring that all expenses are tracked and adhered to.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Previous experience in a marketing assistant or entry-level marketing role, ideally within an engineering or technical industry.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
