Job description

As an Account Director at SixSpeed, you will take a leadership role in shaping the success of the agency, managing high-profile client relationships, and driving innovation within the creative and strategic deliverables.  As the visionary and results-driven leader, with a passion for client relationships, strategic direction, and team management, you will be given the transformative opportunity to shape the future of the agency and grow our clients' businesses. Being a strong collaborator is essential, as we treat our clients as an extension of SixSpeed and our internal team members as family. We are looking for a confident, yet humble, leader to help us take one of our largest, longest standing clients to the next level.  

THE TASK AT HAND

  • Analyze any project's performance and provide clients with strategic insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to business development efforts
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends and evolving advertising and marketing strategies
  • Provide exceptional customer service and act as the primary point of senior level contact for key clients
  • Deliver influential client presentations and proposals, driving growth and client satisfaction
  • Oversee annual account panning and financials for each client portfolio
  • Establish and maintain credibility and leadership with the client through strategic thinking and the use of sound judgment when solving problems
  • Lead strategic planning and thought leadership with internal team and clients
  • Establish and nurture strong, long-term client relationships by understanding their goals, objectives, and expectations
  • Collaborate with clients to develop high-level advertising and marketing strategies and oversee their execution
  • Ensure the successful delivery of complex integrated advertising projects, exceeding client expectations
  • Lead a team of Account Supervisors, Account Executives, and Coordinators, guiding their professional growth and ensuring team success
  • Provide leadership/motivation and convey the vision and values of SixSpeed Account Management 

WHO YOU ARE

  • 10+ years of account management / client management experience within an agency
  • Bachelor's degree in strategic communications, marketing, or related field
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to inspire and influence teams and clients
  • Strong strategic thinking, project management, and organizational abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the advertising and marketing industry, emerging trends, and best practices
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills, with a strong analytical and data-driven approach
  • Demonstrated creativity in developing innovative solutions to client challenges
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales and performance targets
  • Proven leadership with multiple client relationships and internal team
  • Excellent ability to develop team members skills and leads by example
  • Exemplifies the ability to teach and lead team members to grow, develop, present, and sell in strategic work
  • Ability to grow, develop and teach marketing acumen to internal teams
  • Excellent financial acumen and ability to teach and lead team members to manage account forecast and financials

This role offers a salary range of $110,000 to $140,000 per year. The final offer will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications as they relate to the requirements of the position.
