Job description

Position Title:   Key Account Associate

Reports to:       EVP

Department:     Sales / Operations

Location:          3600 American Blvd. Suite 750 Bloomington, MN 55431/hybrid

Classification:  Full-time / Exempt

 Essential Job Functions:  The Key Account Associate offers internal support for the Simplicity Affiliated Partner Division. In conjunction with Key Account Managers to this person will work to offers sales and operations support to agencies, IMOs, their staff, and advisors. This is a full-time position.

Primary Responsibilities:

·       Respond to inbound calls, including but not limited to:

  • Life Insurance case design and illustrations
  • Life Insurance product recommendation and intelligence
  • Pre-sale application and underwriting support
  • On-boarding and contracting assistance
  • Product solutions and marketing programs

·       Build and maintain relationships with Affiliated Partner Agency principals and key staff   

·       Navigate insurance companies to ensure timely placement of cases utilizing problem solving skills

·       Understand and adhere to the Education, Value, & Partnership of Simplicity

Qualifications:

·       Bachelors degree preferred

·       Experience in Life Insurance Industry strongly preferred

·       Experience in a customer service role

·        Positive attitude, outgoing and people-oriented

·        Strong communication skills a must

·        Proven ability to build relationships, especially those through phone calls

·        Effective listening skills

·        Must be collaborative team player

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation

  • Annual base salary:  $50,000-55,000 based on experience
  • This is an exempt position
  • Annual performance bonus target:  15%
  • Commission
