Job description

Kelly is hiring for a Chemical Operator III/Mixing Technician for a 12-month contract role at Cleveland, OH 44102 with our prestigious client (2nd shift).
Job Title: Chemical Operator III/ Mixing Technician
Primary Location: Cleveland, OH 44102
12-month contract - Onsite role

Schedule: Mon to Fri (2nd Shift: 2 – 10 pm) with a paid 30-minute meal break & (3rd Shift: 9:30pm - 5:30am) with a paid 30-minute meal break
Pay Rate: $24.50/hourly plus $2.00 shift premium
Role Definition
As a Mixing Technician (Chemical Operator) you will be responsible and accountable for the safe and efficient mixing of batches of chemical materials by adding raw materials into a mixing pot.
This role requires a moderate amount of overtime throughout the week and sometimes on Saturdays.
Responsibilities Description?
• Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:
• Adhere to quality and safety systems and standards
• Handle hazardous raw materials and products with appropriate care and precaution
• Monitor process conditions and equipment
• Participate in the creation and the maintenance of a clean work area
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
• High School education or GED equivalent is required.
• Experience operating a fork truck is a plus
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment or clean room is preferred
• Willing and able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as required
• Willing and able to work in a restricted, electrically classified area for use of flammable and combustible materials
• Able to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs
Once hired: Training for the position may take place during 1st shift hours (6am - 2:30pm) for approx. 1 - 3 weeks.
