This role will support a portfolio of existing FDOT District 2 web applications, SharePoint solutions, Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and related production support needs. Your role Support the Technology Solutions team in maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing existing FDOT District 2 public-facing, internal, and client-facing applications and business systems. Provide application support across traditional .NET web applications, SharePoint Online sites and lists, Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Microsoft Forms, and Microsoft 365-based business processes. Assist with developing web applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET, SQL Server, and Entity Framework. Work with existing application codebases to implement new features, resolve defects, and improve application functionality, usability, and maintainability. Support inherited and legacy systems by learning existing configurations, documenting current behavior, fulfilling enhancement requests, and minimizing disruption to production users. Develop and maintain database queries, application data models, and integrations using SQL Server, Entity Framework, and LINQ. Create, maintain, and troubleshoot SharePoint lists, document libraries, permissions, views, customized forms, and related Microsoft 365 data sources used by FDOT business applications. Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Power Apps and Power Automate flows, including connectors, triggers, run-only permissions, app and flow ownership, error handling, notifications, and SharePoint-backed workflows. Support front-end development and maintenance using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and responsive web design practices. Use Visual Studio to develop, debug, test, and maintain web applications. Use Git-based source control to clone repositories, create branches, commit changes, merge updates, resolve basic conflicts, and participate in pull request workflows. Assist with deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting web applications hosted in Microsoft IIS and Windows Server environments. Help diagnose technical issues across application, web server, database, and browser layers. Respond to production support requests, triage defects, investigate root causes, coordinate fixes, document resolutions, and communicate status to internal project leaders and FDOT stakeholders. Coordinate with FDOT Office of Information Technology, SharePoint administrators, Power Platform administrators, and project stakeholders when access, environment, security, deployment, or tenant-specific issues require client-side support. Collaborate with developers, analysts, project managers, FDOT staff, and other technical team members to understand requirements, support existing processes, and deliver practical solutions across web, SharePoint, and Power Platform environments. Prepare and maintain documentation for application features, SharePoint and Power Platform configurations, data sources, deployment processes, permissions, inventory of flows and apps, issue resolutions, and development procedures. Follow team standards for coding, testing, source control, security, accessibility, documentation, and application support.
