ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze complex local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, and configuring operating systems and protocol suites for virtualized and containerized systems. Resolve difficult interoperability problems to obtain operation across host, hypervisor, and guest nodes. Load and configure cloud servers and vendor (e.g., Cisco, Juniper) or white box routers and switches. ย Support the acquisition of hardware and software and subcontractor services. Act as a technical project leader or provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
โ€ขย  ย ย 8 years of experience with providing technical support for the engineering and testing of complex software and hardware systems in the communication field
โ€ขย  ย ย Experience with network planning for telecommunications switches
โ€ขย  ย ย Experience with conducting integration and system level testing of telecommunications systems or platforms
โ€ขย  ย ย Experience with Kubernetes
โ€ขย  ย ย Experience with Cisco, Juniper or equivalent networking equipment
โ€ขย  ย ย Experience with VMWare, QEMU, KVM, or Docker
โ€ขย  ย ย Experience with Linux or OpenStack
โ€ขย  ย ย Knowledge of telephony and telecommunication
โ€ขย  ย ย Knowledge of networking services
โ€ขย  ย ย Knowledge of software defined networking
โ€ขย  ย ย Cisco CCNA or equivalent preferred
โ€ขย  ย ย RHCSA preferred
โ€ขย  ย ย HS diploma or GED
