What You'll Do
As a Junior Systems Analyst / Facilities Coordinator, you will support the delivery of responsive technical support and workplace services. Your role will include:
IT Support & User Assistance
Respond to internal staff inquiries and support requests through multiple communication channels
Monitor and manage support tickets, providing timely updates and resolutions
Provide Tier 1 support for hardware, operating systems, applications, and workplace technology
Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online
Assist with troubleshooting Windows desktop environments, mobile devices, and remote work solutions
Document solutions, procedures, and resolutions within the service management system
Assist with testing, deployment, and maintenance of desktop hardware and software updates
Facilities Coordination
Act as the primary point of contact for office moves, workstation setups, and facilities-related requests
Coordinate ergonomic assessments and workplace accommodations as required
Work closely with building management and internal teams to address facility issues
Help maintain a comfortable, safe, and productive work environment for employees
Assist with workplace planning and office space utilization initiatives
Coordination & Team Collaboration
Collaborate with internal departments to support operational and workplace needs
Work closely with the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) team to address facility-related concerns
Communicate effectively with employees, vendors, contractors, and building management
Contribute to maintaining positive relationships through exceptional customer service
Project Execution & Continuous Improvement
Assist in identifying business and application support challenges and recommending solutions
Support process improvement initiatives related to IT support and facilities operations
Participate in technology and workplace improvement projects
Help ensure systems, procedures, and documentation remain accurate and up to date
Safety, Quality & Compliance
Support compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
Follow established IT and facilities procedures and standards
Maintain accurate records and documentation of support activities
Demonstrate commitment to safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement
About You
You are a customer-focused professional who enjoys problem-solving, helping others, and working in a fast-paced environment. You bring:
Post-secondary diploma in Information Technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in a help desk, technical support, facilities support, or client-facing support role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks
A proactive, service-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering positive user experiences
Technical Foundation
Working knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals
Experience supporting Windows desktop operating systems
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and services
Familiarity with mobile devices and remote work technologies
Understanding of business application support and troubleshooting processes
Experience supporting engineering software or CAD applications is considered an asset
