DESIGNER III


Overview

Supports a broad range of project delivery efforts as an experienced design professional with demonstrated competency across multiple project types and phases. Independently performs architectural assignments and develops design and technical solutions for small projects or significant portions of larger projects. Applies architectural principles, technical knowledge, and sound judgment to deliver quality work with limited supervision. Collaborates effectively with project teams and consultants, contributes to project success through reliable execution, and serves as a resource for less experienced team members. Represents the highest level within the Junior Designer track, demonstrating strong technical proficiency, professional growth, and readiness for increased responsibility.


Responsibilities

  • Develop design layouts, project features, and technical solutions for assigned project scopes, including researching, evaluating, and documenting information to support project objectives.
  • Independently perform architectural and interior design assignments of moderate complexity.
  • Execute assigned project components through multiple phases of design and documentation while maintaining quality, accuracy, and adherence to project standards.
  • Coordinate assigned work with project team members and consultants to support project delivery requirements.
  • Prepare project documentation using design/production software, general office software, and current presentation tools and standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of specifications, product evaluations, and material selections for assigned project scopes.
  • Conduct site surveys, field verification, and existing conditions assessments; incorporate findings into project documentation.
  • Prepare presentation materials and contribute to communicating design concepts and solutions to project teams and clients.
  • Participate in construction-phase support activities, including reviewing project information and documenting field observations as directed.

  • Proficient in REVIT and BIM workflows, including coordination awareness.
  • Working proficiency in Enscape, Bluebeam, Newforma, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, and other applicable programs.
  • Strong BIM modeling and project documentation capabilities.
Requirements:


  • Degree in architecture or interior design from an accredited university
  • Design professional with (typically) 5+ years of commercial interior design/architectural experience
