The supervisory software development project manager oversees software contract staff and successful implementation of software projects. The supervisory software project manager ensures projects are completed within established timelines and to stakeholder criteria. Assigns tasks, workloads, set priorities, and monitors team performance to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met for stakeholders and customers. Oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects, ensuring alignment with agency objectives and priorities. Develops and maintains detailed project plans, including schedules, milestones, resource allocations, and risk management strategies. Identifies and mitigates software project risks, escalating issues as necessary to ensure successful project outcomes. Leads the team in updating, enhancing, and maintaining the agency's web application to meet evolving requirements and user needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software program or project management.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar).
  • Bachelor's degree.
