Job Title: Junior Software Developer

Department: Funeral/Cemetery Services, Argent Trust Company

General Job Description

Junior Software Developer will be responsible for creating and modifying computer application software or specialized utility software programs.

Essential Duties

  • Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
  • Work with the project manager or product owner to meet specification needs
  • Recommend software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code
  • Create flowcharts and user guides for new and existing programs
  • Document all programming tasks and procedures
  • Perform routine software maintenance

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills:

  • C# and strong T SQL experience.
  • HTML5, ASP.NET MVC, and MS SQL Server experience a plus.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Emotional intelligence/awareness
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/management information systems (MIS), preferably
