Job description

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving production equipment and systems. This role is critical to minimizing downtime and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facility. Essential Responsibilities: Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on manufacturing equipment.

Lead and coordinate maintenance activities during planned shutdowns and emergency repairs. Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime. Install, align, and commission new machinery and production lines.

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to diagnose issues and implement solutions. Mentor and train junior technicians; serve as a technical resource for the maintenance team. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS software.

Collaborate with production, engineering, and safety teams to improve equipment reliability and workplace safety. Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean or Six Sigma projects. Requirements: High school diploma or GED required.

5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of industrial machinery including but not limited to; parts washers, dynamometers, manual and CNC machine tools, specialized test equipment. Proficient in troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and control systems.

Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and industrial safety practices. Ability to work independently and lead small teams during projects or critical repairs.

While rare, must be willing to work flexible hours, including after normal shift hours or on-call shifts as needed. Ability to work with computers and software systems, must wear all personal protective equipment PPE Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stooping, twist, reach, reach overhead Must be able to climb, pull, push, kneel, crawl, lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and lift up to 40 lbs.
