Jouw functie

Als Junior Sales Engineer ondersteun je onze Sales Engineers op technisch, commercieel én administratief vlak. Afhankelijk van jouw ervaring en interesses ligt de klemtoon meer op technische uitwerking of commerciële ondersteuning.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden
  • Je behandelt offerteaanvragen en werkt deze zelfstandig uit.
  • Je volgt lopende offertes nauwgezet op.
  • Je verzamelt projectinformatie in rechtstreeks contact met klanten.
  • Je denkt mee over mechanische ontwerpen en technische oplossingen.
  • Je dimensioneert hardwarecomponenten (zoals robotics, servomotoren en drivesystemen) en vertaalt deze naar een totaaloplossing.
  • Je stelt samen met het externe salesteam volledige commerciële dossiers op (offertes, presentaties, documentatie).
  • Je zet verkooporders correct klaar voor orderverwerking.
  • Je beheert en optimaliseert het ERP-systeem (artikelen aanmaken, prijslijsten up‑to‑date houden, klanten‑ en contactgegevens beheren).
  • Je onderzoekt nieuwe producten en hun toepassingsmogelijkheden.
  • Je fungeert als technisch-commercieel aanspreekpunt voor klanten.
  • Je helpt mee bij de ontwikkeling en optimalisatie van commerciële tools.

In functie van jouw ambities kan de jobinhoud verder evolueren.

Kennis en ervaring – je hebt minimaal een bachelordiploma (technisch of gelijkwaardig door ervaring). Interesse in of voeling met techniek/automatisering is mooi meegenomen.

Analytische skills – je kan technische en commercieel‑administratieve vragen correct interpreteren en uitwerken. Je werkt gestructureerd en nauwkeurig.

People skills – je bouwt duurzame relaties op met klanten en collega’s. Je werkt graag samen en haalt energie uit teamwork.

Communicatieve skills – je beschikt over de nodige daadkracht en uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden. Je schakelt vlot tussen verschillende gesprekspartners en situaties.

Talenkennis – je kan je vlot uitdrukken in het Nederlands en het Engels, kennis van het Frans en/of het Duits zijn een pluspunt.
