To thrive as a Junior Resident, you need a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent), a solid grounding in clinical procedures, and the ability to quickly assess and manage patient cases. Familiarity with hospital information systems, electronic health records (EHRs), and standard diagnostic tools is typical, while basic life support (BLS) or advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certifications may be required.
