Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking highly motivated and experienced Junior Project Management Analyst to join our team in McLean, VA. Working closely with project managers, technical teams, and client stakeholders, this role assists with project tracking, reporting, risk management, resource coordination, and contract deliverables to ensure successful program execution.Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Junior Project Management Analyst, you will:
  • Support project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and deliverable tracking across the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, and assist with mitigation planning.
  • Coordinate meetings, action items, and communications with government stakeholders, program teams, and leadership.
  • Track project budgets, milestones, and contractual deliverables to support program objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, security, and governance requirements.
  • Support Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Assist with federal IT initiatives, including cybersecurity, cloud, DevSecOps, and ICAM programs.
Required Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Eligible to acquire and maintain Government Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Four (4) years of direct experience managing technical projects, enterprise IT implementations, or systems engineering contracts within cleared government or corporate environments.
  • Experience supporting federal government contracts preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.
  • Knowledge of PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
