Notre client est une firme de génie-conseil bien établie et en pleine croissance, spécialisée dans l'inspection, l'évaluation et la réhabilitation de bâtiments existants. Afin de soutenir le développement de son département Bâtiment, notre client est à la recherche d'un(e) Ingénieur(e) junior / Chargé(e) de projets souhaitant évoluer au sein d'une équipe reconnue pour son expertise technique.

Les mandats portent principalement sur des bâtiments commerciaux, institutionnels, industriels et multirésidentiels et offrent l'occasion de participer à des projets variés combinant travail sur le terrain et analyse technique.

Votre rôle

Sous la supervision de professionnels expérimentés, vous contribuerez à la réalisation de mandats d'inspection, d'évaluation technique et de suivi de projets portant sur des bâtiments existants.


Vos principales responsabilités seront de :

  • Réaliser des inspections techniques et visuelles sur différents types de bâtiments;
  • Effectuer des relevés techniques et photographiques sur les sites;
  • Participer à l'évaluation de l'état des composantes structurales, architecturales, mécaniques, électriques ainsi que de l'enveloppe des bâtiments;
  • Documenter les déficiences observées et contribuer à leur analyse;
  • Préparer des rapports techniques, études et recommandations sous la supervision de professionnels expérimentés;
  • Participer au suivi de projets de réparation, de réhabilitation et de maintien d'actifs;
  • Collaborer avec les clients, les professionnels, les entrepreneurs et les différents intervenants selon les besoins des projets;
  • Participer à la préparation de documents techniques et administratifs;
  • Contribuer au respect des échéanciers, des exigences réglementaires et de la qualité des livrables.


Des déplacements réguliers sur différents sites dans la grande région de Montréal font partie intégrante du poste.

About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-established and growing engineering consulting firm specializing in the inspection, evaluation and rehabilitation of existing buildings. As part of the continued growth of its Building Division, our client is seeking a Junior Engineer / Project Coordinator to join a collaborative team recognized for its technical expertise.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial, institutional, industrial and multi-residential projects, combining fieldwork with technical analysis and project coordination.

Responsibilities

Working alongside experienced professionals, you will contribute to a variety of building inspection, evaluation and rehabilitation projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Perform technical and visual inspections of commercial, industrial, institutional and multi-residential buildings;
  • Conduct on-site technical surveys and photographic documentation;
  • Assist in evaluating the condition of structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical and building envelope systems;
  • Document observed deficiencies and contribute to technical assessments;
  • Prepare technical reports, studies and recommendations under the supervision of senior professionals;
  • Assist with the coordination and follow-up of repair, rehabilitation and asset management projects;
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, contractors and other project stakeholders as required;
  • Prepare technical and administrative documentation;
  • Contribute to maintaining project schedules, regulatory compliance and high-quality deliverables.


Regular travel to project sites throughout the Greater Montreal area is required.

Qualifications


We are interested in candidates who are recent graduates or have a few years of relevant experience, including:

  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or equivalent;
  • Junior Civil or Building Engineer;
  • Engineering Technologist;
  • Civil Engineering Technician;
  • Building, Architectural, Mechanical Building Systems or Inspection Technician.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities;
