Junior Graphic Designer - New York City
A leading global brand owner, marketing, and media company is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to support creative needs across our organization.
Are you a graphic designer who works quickly, thinks visually, and values clean, on-brand design? We're looking for someone with a strong eye for layout and typography who can confidently handle a range of projects- from presentations, digital marketing, brand identity, and packaging. You should be comfortable responding to ad-hoc requests, maintaining visual consistency, and tailoring your designs to align with each brand's unique DNA and aesthetic. A genuine appreciation for photography, layout, and detail is a must. If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet. You'll work closely with our Design Director and help uphold and evolve our brand standards across all channels.

Here's what you will do here
  • In collaboration with the Creative and Marketing teams, you will develop and design creative that includes identity, packaging, retail, campaigns, brand presentations, brand guides/book, illustration, emails, web, event collateral, digital, and social assets.
  • Responsible for reviewing, approving, and providing feedback on creative files from partners.
  • Consistently produce and communicate fresh ideas and design concepts.
  • Work with internal and external partners to maintain and enforce brand consistency across all touch points.
  • Work closely with the Design Director to oversee all design projects, from concept to production.
  • Work with external partners on packaging design and advertising materials.
  • Manage, name, reformat, and organize all assets for internal and external use.
  • Basic retouching and photo manipulation.
  • Research emerging design trends, software, and communication platforms to continue learning and enhance professional development.
  • Help foster a supportive, collaborative, and creative environment!

Education and Experience Requirements
  • BFA degree or BA in Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of graphic design experience
  • Comprehensive Portfolio containing samples of packaging design, editorial layout, branding, advertising and digital/print design.
  • Excellent typography, composition, and graphic design skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of Final Cut Pro and other video, animation, and editing software a plus.
