ITA is seeking a Junior Power Platform Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities
The Junior Power Platform Developer supports the design, development, and implementation of automation and business process solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint. Working alongside senior developers, business analysts, and project managers, this individual will help streamline business processes, reduce manual effort, and develop technology-enabled solutions that support government and commercial customers.
This position is ideal for an early-career professional with a strong interest in automation, low-code application development, data management, and digital transformation.
Responsibilities:
Power Platform Development
  • Develop and maintain Power Apps applications to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Build and support Power Automate workflows to streamline data collection, approvals, notifications, and reporting processes.
  • Assist in creating user-friendly forms, applications, and interfaces that improve the user experience and support mission requirements.
  • Support the development of dashboards and reports using Power BI and other reporting tools.

Business Process Automation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
  • Document requirements, workflows, and system functionality to support solution development.
  • Assist in converting manual and spreadsheet-based processes into automated workflows and digital solutions.

Data Integration & Management
  • Support the integration of data from SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Dataverse, Excel, SQL databases, and other enterprise systems.
  • Assist in data validation, cleansing, and transformation activities to ensure data quality and reliability.
  • Help maintain data structures, permissions, and system configurations.

Testing & Deployment
  • Participate in application testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Support deployment activities and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Document technical solutions, user guides, and training materials.

Customer & Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with project teams, customers, and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, project meetings, and design reviews.
  • Provide responsive customer support for deployed applications and workflows.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, Communications, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in application development, automation, business analysis, or related technical work.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, or similar low-code/no-code platforms.
  • Basic understanding of databases, data structures, and workflow automation concepts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience developing Power Apps or Power Automate workflows through coursework, internships, or professional experience.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Dataverse, SQL, or SharePoint Online.
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience supporting government, defense, or public sector customers.
  • Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900) certification or willingness to obtain within the first year of employment.
  • Active Secret clearance or experience supporting the United States Government

Pay range for this position is $75,000 - $125,000 annually.
This position has a broad compensation range due to the complexities of government contracting, including contract pricing, labor category requirements, funding parameters, and varying levels of candidate experience and qualifications.
