Position Summary

Maintain customer relationships at a prominent level within the food store environment in the St. Cloud Market and demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Develop and enhance customer relationships. Provide exemplary customer service through frequent face-to-face visits, telephone, and/or electronic contact.

  • Resolve complaints and keep track of all processes that pertain to the client’s desires.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer requests.
  • Demonstrate competent sales abilities through successful presentation of products and of new and existing items.
  • Participate in sales meetings, on-site training, and trade events to maintain a high level of product and supplier knowledge.
  • Collect and analyze data concerning consumer behavior to understand changing needs.
  • Utilize CRM to prospect and grow current book of business.
  • Complete accurate and timely reports, utilizing our retail reporting tools, including weekly recaps, Itineraries, expense reports, and web-based reports.
  • Drive personal vehicle and maintain clean driving record.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Two years of full-time sales industry related work experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, proof of insurance, and acceptable driving record
