Job Description

Position           : Full Stack Developer

Location          : Scottsdale, AZ ONSITE - Local Only

Duration         : 6 months contract with possible extension

Role and Responsibilities:

o          Create effectively tested, re-usable, and efficient JavaScript code

o          Develop mission critical user experiences

o          Support continuous improvement by staying up-to-date on front-end technology

o          Work collaboratively with a team in an Agile environment

o          Lead from the front, guiding teams of developers (and non-developers) to the completion of successful projects

o          Mentor junior developers to ensure that our talent pools grows with us as a company

Preferred Qualifications:

o          The ideal candidate will have a 2- or 4-year degree in CS/Engineering, be a bootcamp grad, or be self-taught with practical experience

o          7+ years of professional programming experience

o          3+ years of professional hands-on React.js development experience.

o          Team lead experience.

o          Experience with popular React.js workflows, such as Redux or Relay.

o          Experience with other JavaScript frameworks, such as AngularJS and Vue.js is a plus.

o          Knowledge of modern web technologies, such as CSS, Typescript/ES6, Less/Sass, HTML5

o          Experience developing to inclusive design best practices, up to and beyond meeting WCAG standards

o          Experience writing unit tests with Jest/Enzyme or equivalent tools

o          Familiarity with Git Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum preferred) as part of a cross-functional team

o          2-3 years of experience on Architecture / Cloud, preferably on AWS

o          Strong communication skills

o          Consulting background & stakeholder management experience.
