Overview
MG2, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is currently looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our Technology team in Seattle, WA in a hybrid work arrangement.
The full stack developer is a key technical contributor responsible for delivering end-to-end application development across the user interface, application logic, and database layers. This role focuses primarily on hands on development, working closely with the development team, program managers, and business analysts to translate business needs into high quality technical solutions. Working across East Coast, China, and India time zones may be required.
The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor who thrives in a collaborative environment, demonstrates solid engineering fundamentals, and is committed to continuous learning. They build strong working relationships, show initiative, and contribute to a high performing delivery team.
Responsibilities
Application Development (Majority of Role)
  • Contributes to the design, development, and implementation of full stack solutions across UI, application, and database layers.
  • Works with program managers and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develops high quality, maintainable code that aligns with established standards, tools, and architectural patterns.
  • Participates in source control workflows, branching strategies, and CI/CD deployment activities.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues, contributing to long term improvements in reliability and performance.
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends and best practices and apply them when aligned with organizational standards.

Team Collaboration
  • Participates in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and team learning practices.
  • Assists junior developers with informal guidance and support when appropriate.
  • Supports a positive, collaborative, and growth-oriented team culture.
  • Contributes to documentation of processes, systems, and technical decisions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years of full stack development experience.
  • Primarily hands-on development responsibilities.
  • Experience working within structured standards, frameworks, and established engineering practices.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Technical Expertise - Front End Development
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Experience with React or Angular.
  • Ability to build responsive, accessible, and intuitive user interface.

Technical Expertise - Back End Development
  • Experience with one or more of the following:
    • js
    • Java
    • PHP
  • Ability to build well-structured APIs, application services, and backend components.

Database Technologies
  • Strong working knowledge of MS SQL and Azure SQL.
  • Ability to design schemas, write SQL queries, and optimize performance.

Other
  • Familiarity with Git and standard version control strategies.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment processes.

Compensation: $95,800 to $148,300 per year (depending on qualifications)
