Desired/preferred qualifications:

· Previous healthcare or medical device experience

· Experience working with healthcare data, including HL7v2, FHIR, and DICOM

· FHIR and/or HL7 Certifications

· Building software classified as Software as a Medical Device (SaMD)

· Understanding of EHR technologies such as EPIC, Cerner, etc.

· Implementation of enterprise-grade cybersecurity & privacy by design into software products

· Experience in digital health software development

· Developing global applications

· Strong understanding of SDLC – Waterfall & Agile methodologies

· Software estimation

· Leading software development teams onshore and offshore

Job Responsibilities:

· Act as Development Lead for a team of front-end developers

· Develop, document, and configure system specifications that conform to defined architecture standards and address business requirements

· Plan system and development deployment while ensuring compliance and security standards

· Build and maintain high-quality web applications using React.js & Material-UI

· Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, working closely with UI/UX designers

· Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate RESTful APIs and AWS-based microservices

· Identify and address system functionality or performance deficiencies

· Document testing and maintenance of system updates, modifications, and configurations

· Liaise with key technology vendors and other business functions

· Design technology solutions that meet the needs and goals of the company and its customers/users

· Assess if existing standard platform functionality can solve business problems or if customization is required

· Write unit tests, integration tests, and perform debugging to ensure high-quality code

· Perform basic maintenance and performance optimization procedures

· Document detailed technical system specifications based on business requirements

· Ensure system implementation compliance with global & local regulatory and security standards (HIPAA, SOCII, ISO27001, etc.)
