BBA is seeking a Junior Civil/Structural Engineer to joinour growing U.S. team. In this role, you will work alongside experiencedengineers and multidisciplinary teams on projects in the mining, industrial,energy, renewable power, and chemical sectors.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for anearly-career engineer to build technical expertise in both civil infrastructureand structural design, while contributing to projects from concept developmentthrough detailed engineering and construction support.

With us, you'll get theopportunity to:

  • Support the civil and structural design of industrial and infrastructure projects from preliminary studies through detailed engineering
  • Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, design memoranda, and construction documentation
  • Assist with the design of civil infrastructure systems including site development, drainage, utility layouts, and access infrastructure
  • Support the structural design of:
    - Concrete foundations
    - Steel and reinforced concrete structures
    - Equipment support structures
    - Pipe racks, platforms, and industrial structural systems
    - Building structural components
  • Assist in structural analysis and preparation of design calculations in accordance with applicable U.S. codes and standards
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, process, geotechnical, and environmental disciplines
  • Prepare quantity take-offs, technical specifications, material requisitions, and construction packages
  • Review and coordinate engineering deliverables prepared by designers and drafters
  • Participate in project planning, scheduling, cost estimating, and technical coordination
  • Support construction activities through site visits, field reviews, and responding to technical queries
  • Participate in client meetings and contribute to technical discussions
  • Contribute to engineering quality, continuous improvement, and best practices
