Location :- Chicago, IL(Onsite)
MacOS and JAMF experience is mandatory
Job description :-
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support and maintenance for end-user devices, including Windows and macOS systems. The role involves managing the complete system lifecycle, troubleshooting network issues, and supporting identity and access management tools such as Okta.
Key Responsibilities
End-User Support
  • Provide L1/L2 technical support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across Windows and macOS platforms
  • Support users via tickets, calls, and remote tools
Windows & macOS Administration
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows and macOS systems
  • Manage OS upgrades, patches, and security updates
  • Handle Active Directory, Group Policy, and system configurations
System Lifecycle Management
  • Manage end-to-end device lifecycle (procurement, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning)
  • Perform device imaging, provisioning, and asset tracking
  • Ensure compliance with company security and IT policies
Network Support
  • Diagnose and resolve LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN connectivity issues
  • Basic troubleshooting of switches, routers, and firewalls
  • Coordinate with network teams for escalations
Identity & Access Management (Okta)
  • Manage user accounts, SSO, MFA, and access provisioning via Okta
  • Troubleshoot login, authentication, and access-related issues
  • Support onboarding/offboarding processes
Security & Compliance
