Junior / Intermediate Interior Designer


POSITION

We are seeking a Junior or Intermediate Interior Designer to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a creative, motivated designer with 2–4 years of experience in commercial interiors who enjoys collaborating throughout all phases of a project. The successful candidate will contribute to workplace and corporate interior projects, supporting design development, construction documentation, and client coordination while continuing to grow their technical and design skills.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with all phases of corporate interior design projects from programming through construction administration.
  • Develop test fits and space planning layouts to meet client needs.
  • Conduct field verification and existing conditions surveys.
  • Produce and coordinate construction documents in Revit.
  • Support design development, finish selections, and material research.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal project teams.
  • Research products and materials to support innovative design solutions.
  • Ensure project documentation complies with applicable building codes and industry standards.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture from a CIDA-accredited program.
  • 2–4 years of experience with a commercial architecture or interior design firm.
  • Strong Revit skills with experience producing construction documents for corporate interior projects.
  • Proficiency with Enscape.
  • NCIDQ certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of interior design specifications, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Passion for design with a strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
