Job description

Company description
At Saatchi we believe in creating ideas that can live anywhere. And we believe that when we work as a team, nothing is impossible. We strive to bring out the best in each other and in ourselves and expect applicants to understand the value of close collaboration. We also believe that creating transformational work requires initiative, an entrepreneurial spirit and a bold commitment to achieving measurable results and business success for the Clients we service.
The candidates for this position need to be located in the Los Angeles area.
Overview
Junior Designer, Performance
Saatchi & Saatchi is looking for a Junior Designer to join our Performance team. You'll work alongside art directors, strategists, and the media team to produce digital assets that don't just look good - they work. This is a production-forward role with real creative upside for someone who is hungry, detail-oriented, and fluent in digital.
About the team
Performance at Saatchi & Saatchi sits at the intersection of creative and data - building work that moves people and moves the numbers. Our junior designers are core to that engine, and we invest in helping them grow into fully-formed creative thinkers who are ready for whatever comes next.
Responsibilities
What you'll do
  • Execute digital ad creative across display, social, and paid media - banners, carousels, and stories - with speed and accuracy.
  • Adapt existing campaign creative into multiple formats, sizes, and specs while maintaining brand consistency and creative intent.
  • Manage revisions and versioning efficiently, keeping assets organized and production pipelines on schedule.
  • Build and update client-facing presentations in Google Slides, translating creative work into clear, polished decks.
  • Collaborate with creative, media, and account teams to align on deliverables and timelines.
  • Work alongside a copywriter to concept deliverables and complete workflows. Actively explore and integrate AI tools into your creative workflow - contributing to how we work smarter and stay ahead.

Qualifications
What we're looking for
  • A system thinker who has a genuine passion for AI-powered creative tools - whether that's generative image, copy assist, or workflow automation - and the drive to help shape how we use them.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop and Illustrator - is required.
  • Knowledge of motion design and experience with After Effects is preferred.
  • Google Slides fluency is a must.
  • Working knowledge of Figma is a plus.

You also bring
  • 1-3 years of professional design experience, agency or in-house or ad tech.
  • A portfolio demonstrating digital-first work - production chops matter as much as ideation here.
  • Strong understanding of digital ad specs and platform requirements across Meta, Google, and programmatic.
