UNICO is seeking an engineering graduate (Civil preferred) to work on the construction management of bridge, roadway and or utility projects. Prefer 2-3 years' experience in construction management, construction, land development, or design of infrastructure projects, or multiple student internships in the construction industry. Type of infrastructure projects include bridges / structures, roadways, green infrastructure, curb, gutter, sidewalk, underground utilities, earthwork, etc. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Candidate must have experience working in a team environment.

Responsibilites:

Maintain tracking logs
Review submittals
Draft responses to RFIs and letters
Perform independent cost analyses for extra work
Perform quantity takeoffs
Reviewing quantity sheets
Prepare the agenda for the weekly construction meetings
Attend the weekly construction meetings and take meeting minutes
Review certified payroll and perform labor compliance interviews
Review and track DBE utilization
Maintain the project records
Assist with project closeout documentation
Perform site inspection as needed

Qualifications:

Certified as an Engineer-in-Training (preferred).
BS in Construction Management, Civil, or Structural Engineering (preferred), OR
Four (4) years of relevant Construction Engineering experience
