Position Summary
The Construction Inspection Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and scheduling construction inspections, dispatching field inspectors, managing daily logistics, and maintaining communication between field personnel and project stakeholders. This position plays a vital role in ensuring inspections are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch construction inspectors to project sites based on priority, location, and workload.
- Coordinate inspection requests from contractors, clients, municipalities, and project managers.
- Monitor inspector availability, assignments, and daily routes.
- Manage and adjust daily schedules to accommodate changing priorities and urgent requests.
- Maintain accurate scheduling records, inspection logs, and project documentation.
- Communicate schedule updates, delays, cancellations, and priority changes to inspectors and clients.
- Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and service requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Review inspection requests for completeness and accuracy.
- Perform data entry and maintain records within scheduling and inspection management systems.
- Assist with permit tracking, project documentation, and administrative support functions.
- Work closely with management to optimize field operations and resource allocation.
- Identify scheduling conflicts and implement solutions to maximize efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in dispatching, scheduling, customer service, administrative support, or a related field.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
