Job description

Job Title: Cloud Solutions Administrator
Location: National Harbor, MD (Hybrid)
Type: Full Time
Compensation: $65,000 to $100,000 subject to experience, Annually + Bonus Opportunities
If you're energized by complex cloud challenges, thrive in a collaborative environment, and want to build a career at the forefront of Microsoft technology - this might be exactly where you belong.
Cloudforce is looking for a skilled Cloud Solutions Administrator to join our growing team. But let's be clear about what this role actually is: this isn't a helpdesk position or a ticket queue. You won't be managing customer environments or grinding through repetitive support requests. Instead, you'll be doing meaningful work - supporting with designing and deploying Azure solutions, consulting directly with clients, and contributing to projects that genuinely challenge you.
This is a role with a real trajectory. We're invested in growing our people, and this position is designed as a launching pad toward a Cloud Engineer and, ultimately, a Cloud Architect path. If you're early in your cloud career and hungry to accelerate, you'll find the mentorship, exposure, and hands-on experience here to make that happen fast.
We're looking for someone who brings a solid foundation in IT infrastructure, hands-on experience with Azure services, and a genuine curiosity for what's next in cloud technology. Just as important is how you work with people: our ideal candidate leads with a service-first mindset, communicates clearly, and finds real satisfaction in helping clients solve problems through smart, thoughtful technology.
Responsibilities
  • Deploy and maintain resources in Microsoft Azure.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to support efforts in identifying requirements, designing, and implementing solutions that meet client needs.

  • Troubleshoot issues related to Azure services and provide timely resolutions.

  • Monitor the performance and availability of Azure services and take proactive measures to ensure high availability and performance.

  • Manage access and permissions to Azure resources and services.

  • Assist with ensuring that Azure solutions are secure, compliant with industry standards, and follow best practices.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for Azure solutions.

  • Work with development teams to support the use of our genAI application, nebulaONE.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure features and updates and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in maintaining and interacting with resources in Microsoft Azure.

  • Experience managing Windows AD, Entra ID, Office 365, and Exchange Online.

  • Experience with PowerShell.

  • Fundamental understanding of cloud computing principles.

  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Application Insights.

  • Awareness of security and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Familiarity with Azure CLI or ARM templates.

  • Experience managing Identity and Access Management services, such as Privileged Identity Management, Conditional Access, and Azure MFA.

  • Experience with Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Storage, Virtual Networks, and App Services.

  • Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) and Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104).

$65,000 - $100,000 a year
Subject to experience. The range encompasses a junior to senior-level administrator.
