Job description

Location: Denver, CO or Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)

The Junior Designer will support all needs of asset production for our in-house design team, focusing on print design support including packaging and brand assets, along with digital assets including video post-production. The creative team functions as an in-house agency and treats all departments as clients helping generate innovative ideas, concepts, and designs to fulfill strategic marketing needs and drive sales.

Essential duties of the Junior Designer:

  • Execute production design for packaging assets, making updates to existing designs and ensuring files are prepped for print, maintain timely communication with print vendors, check proofs for accuracy, and upkeep file libraries for all art files.

  • Execute print and digital design projects to support marketing, sales, and education teams, including literature, visual merchandising assets, and training materials.

  • Execute post-production for video content including PDPs, blog, and educational video assets. Knowledge of lighting, video production set up + shooting is a bonus.

  • Support with social media assets where needed.

  • Other design support and duties as needed.


Skills and experience youโ€™ll need to be successful:

  • Mastery of the Adobe Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro (After Effects and Dimension are great to have)

  • Google Suite familiarity

  • Experience in Wrike or other project management software

  • Experience in Klaviyo or any other email marketing platforms

  • Print production design and file preparation (packaging design experience is great to have)

  • Page layout, editorial design, presentation design

  • Photography rendering + mockups, plus retouching experience

  • Executing timelines for multiple projects with timely delivery

  • Cross-functional collaboration with multiple stakeholders

  • Willingness to learn and grow, and a passion for taking on new challenges

Compensation & Benefits

The salary for this role is $50 - 60K

- PTO Accrual: 4.75-7.75 hours earned per pay period, based on tenure

- Employee gratis (free) products $250 each quarter

- Holidays: 11 Company Paid Holidays & 1 Floating Holiday

- Sick Leave: 2 hours earned per pay period, bank of 2 days to start, capped at 10 days

- Bereavement Leave: Up to 6 days

- Two subsidized health insurance benefit plan options, Colorado Employees Only - Doctors Plan & Colorado Employees & Non-Colorado Employees: HSA plan with Employer contributions $60/mo for individuals, $90/mo for family plans.
