Job description

Junior Physical Security Specialist
TSA is actively hiring for a Junior Physical Security Specialist at NAS Patuxent River to support security administration requirements at various facilities. Duties will include physical and/or industrial security, access control, and force protection. This position requires the ability to work independently, supporting our customer on site. This role does not allow for remote work or a compressed work schedule.
Roles/Responsibilities:
  • Carry out support tasks related to physical security administration within Security Operations Centers (SOC's) in multiple facilities on NAS Patuxent River.
  • Camera surveillance, access control coverage
  • First responder coordination, watch coordination
  • Alarm testing, call box monitoring and testing, operating systems maintenance coordination
  • Data retrieval, CAC PIN reset, swipe access processes
  • Training record maintenance and other clerical/administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications Required:
  • Must have a high school diploma
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance

Qualifications Desired:
  • DoD experience is a plus
