Job description

Role: Automation Tester

Location: Malvern, PA (Hybrid-1 week/month)

Experience: - Min. 8+ Years

As an Automation Tester, you will be a part of an Agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards.

Responsibilities: -

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript/Python)
  • Build scalable automated test scripts for UI, API, and end-to-end testing
  • Perform ETL/data validation testing to ensure data accuracy across source and target systems
  • Write complex SQL queries for data verification and backend validation
  • Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and product teams to ensure quality throughout SDLC Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub/Jenkins) Drive test strategy, test planning, and defect management
  • Ensure coverage for functional, regression, and performance scenarios
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in Playwright automation (UI & API testing)
  • Proficiency in Python scripting (preferred) or JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with SQL (complex joins, aggregations, validation queries)
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes and data testing methodologies
  • Experience with API testing (REST, JSON, Postman/Playwright)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
  • Strong knowledge of test frameworks, design patterns, and QA best practices

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
  • Exposure to data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, or Synapse
