Job Summary
Swift is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and scripts. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our software products through comprehensive test automation strategies.

This is a HYBRID role that required two days a week onsite in Tysons, VA.
Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks using Robot Framework and Selenium.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases for complex applications, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Design and execute test plans, analyze test results, and provide detailed reports on application quality.
  • Utilize Apigee API for testing and automating API functionalities.
  • Manage and maintain test automation code repositories using Git.
  • Perform data validation and manipulation using Structured Query Language (SQL) for various testing scenarios.
  • Mentor junior automation engineers and contribute to best practices in test automation.
  • Identify and implement new automation technologies and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.


Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in test automation and software quality assurance.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks using Robot Framework and Selenium.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages relevant to test automation (e.g., Python).
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with Apigee API for API testing and automation.
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with Git for version control.
  • Advanced skills in Structured Query Language (SQL) for database testing and data validation.
  • Demonstrated experience in Test Case Design, Test Execution, and developing comprehensive Test Plans.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with other Automation Technology tools and concepts is a plus.

The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position in Virginia is $101,303 MINIMUM to $188,135 MAXIMUM. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
