Title: Junior Sales Manager

Location: Loveland, CO

FLSA: Exempt

Status: Full-time

Reports to: Area Director of Sales

Pay Range: $58,000 DOE

Job Summary

The Junior Sales Manager supports the hotel's revenue goals by coordinating group and corporate business opportunities, responding to sales inquiries, maintaining client relationships, and assisting with sales and marketing initiatives. This role focuses primarily on reactive sales efforts, account support, and internal coordination to ensure a seamless experience for clients and hotel operations teams.

Essential Functions and Duties
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times.
  • Respond promptly to incoming sales inquiries, leads, and requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Assist with securing group, corporate, and social business through timely follow-up and communication.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, banquet event orders (BEOs), and other sales-related documents.
  • Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure client requirements and event details are communicated accurately.
  • Maintain client and account information within the CRM system.
  • Conduct site tours and assist prospective clients with property information and event planning needs.
  • Support account management efforts by maintaining relationships with existing clients and identifying opportunities for repeat business.
  • Assist in executing sales and marketing initiatives, promotions, and property campaigns.
  • Track sales activities, bookings, and production reports as directed.
  • Monitor and respond to customer feedback to support guest satisfaction and retention.
  • Attend sales meetings, BEO meetings, and operational meetings as required.
  • Assist the Director of Sales and Sales Manager with administrative and coordination duties.
  • Maintain organized sales files, contracts, and documentation in accordance with company standards.
  • Represent the hotel professionally at local networking events and community functions when assigned.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills
  • One to two years of customer service, sales support, hospitality, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Hospitality, hotel, event planning, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with hotel departments.
  • Basic understanding of hotel sales, group business, and event coordination preferred.
Work Environment
  • Primarily indoor office work with occasional property tours, client meetings, and local networking events.
  • Frequent interaction with guests, clients, vendors, and hotel team members.
  • Flexible schedule may be required, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays to support client events and business needs.
