We are looking for a talented and motivated Junior Architectural Designer to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-end residential projects, focusing on creative and innovative design solutions. As a Junior Architectural Designer at Feinmann, Inc., you will be responsible for assisting with design development, client communication, and the preparation of construction documents for a variety of residential remodeling projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design of assigned projects within the established budget and timeline.
  • Meet with clients, Sales Coordinators, and the Sales Manager to discuss design goals, project details, and technical requirements.
  • Develop schematic designs and adjust based on client feedback.
  • Collaborate with the team to integrate feedback and create refined, detailed designs.
  • Create accurate, buildable permit-ready plans.
  • Prepare specifications for doors, windows, framing, finish, and exterior materials in coordination with the Sales Coordinator.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate project progression.
  • Ensure that all designs comply with local building codes and regulations.
  • Be available to provide design input during production and resolve field issues as they arise.
  • Help manage project schedules and ensure designs meet deadlines for timely completion.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in residential architectural design, preferably in remodeling.
  • Proficient in design software, including 3D modeling tools such as Chief Architect, Revit, or similar programs, with strong rendering skills.
  • Knowledge of building codes and construction processes.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients and team members.
  • A strong eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • A positive, solutions-oriented attitude with a desire to learn and grow in the field of architectural design.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation:

  • Full time position
  • Competitive salary at $75,000 to $85,000 based on experience.
