Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise ServiceNow solutions that enhance IT service management and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow development, platform customization, integrations, and ITSM/ITOM processes. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality ServiceNow solutions while following industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities

  •  Design, develop, configure, and implement scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform. 
  •  Customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, forms, catalogs, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations. 
  •  Develop and maintain REST/SOAP API integrations with enterprise applications. 
  •  Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions. 
  •  Configure and enhance ITSM, CSM, HAM, FSM, and ITOM modules to improve business processes. 
  •  Implement and support Service Mapping, Discovery, and Event Management capabilities. 
  •  Troubleshoot platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective resolutions. 
  •  Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, configuration documents, and user guides. 
  •  Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards and security best practices. 
  •  Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to the development team. 
  •  Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and solution design discussions. 
  •  Stay current with new ServiceNow releases, features, and platform best practices. 
Required Qualifications

  •  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  •  6+ years of hands-on experience developing and administering the ServiceNow platform. 
  •  Strong experience with ServiceNow development, configuration, customization, and platform administration. 
  •  Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting. 
  •  Extensive experience developing REST and SOAP API integrations. 
  •  Strong knowledge of ITSM and ITOM processes, workflows, automation, and platform optimization. 
  •  Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules including: 
    •  IT Service Management (ITSM) 
    •  Customer Service Management (CSM) 
    •  Hardware Asset Management (HAM) 
    •  Field Service Management (FSM) 
  •  Experience with Service Mapping, Discovery, and Event Management. 
  •  Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. 
  •  Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 
  •  Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
Preferred Qualifications

  •  ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD). 
  •  ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA). 
  •  ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications. 
  •  Experience implementing enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions.
