SierTeK Ltd. is seeking an Application Developer to support an opportunity remotely (part-time)
Essential Job Functions
  • Analyze requirements, design, develop, test, and implement solutions for the CMCS system - DOD, US Air Force and government customers.
  • Provide production support
  • Provide system documentation
  • Provide assistance to less experienced staff.
  • Business challenges include development of new functionality as well as break-fix analysis and support.
  • Work independently within a structured development lifecycle.
  • Understand complex business requirements and interface well with other DOD and government systems.

Minimal Position Requirements
  • A strong knowledge of the Z/OS environment including TSO/ISPF
  • Knowledge programming languages in order of importance
    • FOCUS - This system is written primarily in Mainframe FOCUS
    • JCL
    • REXX
    • COBOL
    • Assembler
  • MS Office - including the following:
    • Outlook
    • Teams
    • Word
    • EXCEL
  • Personal Qualifications
    • A strong customer focus. Applicant should be responsive and efficient when dealing with clients.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • A flexible and/or creative approach to problem solving
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Able to work with people across the country in different time zones
