Position Summary:
The mission of the Regional Sales Director is to generate profitable subscription sales for the suite of JSSI Maintenance Software Solutions (Including Traxxall and Aviator, formerly SierraTrax) in a timely, dynamic, professional, and consistent manner.ย  In conjunction with Senior Management, the Regional Sales Director will help develop a well thought out, and well-focused strategic and tactical sales/business development plan.ย  The primary measurement of success for the Regional Sales Director, will be the attainment of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives on a profitable and consistent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
  • Process, qualify, and communicate with leads from various sources.
  • Work all aspects of the sales pipeline to ensure consistent production.
  • Perform online demonstrations of JSSI Maintenance Software platforms using GoTo Meeting, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams.
  • Generate new sales within assigned sales territory to new customers to JSSI.
  • Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, closed sales, lost business, and any other pertinent information into Salesforce.com.
  • Identify market trends to anticipate areas of opportunity.
  • Negotiate prices with customers and generate contracts for new and existing customers.
  • Travel within sales territory or to industry tradeshows and events to promote and sell JSSI Maintenance Software services.
Desired Credentials:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years in an aviation sales; preferably in aviation software or aircraft sales.
  • Working knowledge of aircraft and the business aviation industry.
  • Ability to function independently.
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships and communicate effectively via email and telephone.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and JetNet preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, & PowerPoint.
Reporting/Location:
  • Reporting: This position will report into the Chief Commercial Officer of the Maintenance Software division and will work the assigned sales territory to close business.ย ย 
  • Location: This position will be primarily out of home office. The ideal candidate will reside in Arizona, Nevada, Southern California, or Northern California.ย  The Territory would consist of Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming
