Job Title: Residential Sales Representative

Salary Range: $80,000-$180,000


Position Overview: The Outside Sales Representative will play a key role in driving growth for JR&CO by generating exciting new business opportunities and nurturing ongoing revenue streams. Residential Sales Representatives are essentially project manager: enjoy autonomy in your decision-making and scheduling with the full support of your department. This dynamic position involves lead generation, tracking proposals through every step of their lifecycle, collaborating with an energetic team, and keeping detailed records and reports to ensure smooth operations. Essential Functions:

  • Make initial contacts and establish relationships with decision makers and targeted markets
  • Support prospecting and lead generation efforts
  • Develop strategic partnerships, relationships, and alliances for company growth, maintaining an active pipeline of opportunities
  • Engage clients to uncover and close growth opportunities to ensure sales objectives are met
  • Create and present sales proposals tailored to the target audience
  • Collaborate with Estimators and negotiate contract terms with clients
  • Track and report on status of proposal components
  • Respond to client inquiries
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop sales tools and strategies for entering target markets
  • Represent JR & Co., Inc. at all assigned networking functions
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of JR&CO offerings as well as current market research to identify profitable business opportunities
  • Maintain detailed client database and prospecting list
  • Record and update all business development activities and results on CRM


Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Valid driver's license in accordance with state laws and company policies
  • Knowledgeable about OSHA safety standards and committed to following all safety protocols
  • Tech-savvy with experience using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, The EDGE (preferred), and Pipedrive(preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) that help you connect with others effortlessly

  • Cold calling and acquisition experience preferred


Training, Support, and Development

  • Paid 4 Weeks of training including roofing industry, construction education, and sales training.
  • Marketing materials and CRM access
  • Fully equipped office and support staff at JR & Co., Inc. National Headquarters office, centrally located in Kansas City, MO.
  • Ongoing, paid, professional development including new products, and sales training.


Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

  • Pass initial drug test and participate in random drug test program
  • Indoor office environment and outdoor door-to-door sales calling
  • Local travel to engage with clients
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends to meet client availability
